Thanksgiving is a day to be with your friends and family but most importantly it’s a day to stuff your face with delicious turkey smothered in gravy and your aunt’s delicious pumpkin pie. There are so many different foods to choose from: traditional turkey, mashed potatoes with a side of gravy, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and many other varieties of pies. So, which one is better? Yuvanah Vignesh has been raised in California since the age of three. She is thirteen years old and is an eighth-grade student. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as engaging in hobbies such as playing competitive tennis, piano, reading, and running. She is super excited to succeed as a journalist this year!
Lucie Baha grew up in Glendale, California with her parents and cat. She has been playing tennis since she was five years old. She adores making custom gifts. She is trilingual and is fluent in three languages. She has been learning French for seven years and has obtained a diploma from the French consulate. Learning French has brought her very close to her French grandparents, who she visits frequently. Her third language is Arabic. Some of her favorite book series are Spy School and anything by Agatha Christie. She is a big Marvel fan and loves everything Marvel-related. She is so excited to be a part of the school newspaper.
