With the highly anticipated spring semi-formal dance rapidly approaching, it may be stressful trying to figure out what to expect. Luckily, this article contains all the rules, expectations, and information on the Miami Nights dance. It will take place on May 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on the middle field. Habit will provide dinner for all students who purchased a dinner ticket, and additionally, snacks and water bottles will be available from the PTA.

Dress Code:

  • Clothing must be at an appropriate length
  • The dance lasts three hours, so comfortable shoes and thicker heels are recommended
  • No strapless dresses
  • Clothing cannot contain any inappropriate, violent, or offensive images or words
  • A single small handbag or purse is allowed
  • Semi-formal attire is mandatory
  • Nice pants without holes must be worn

Students will need their ID card to enter the dance. If you have lost your ID card, you can buy them for $2 at the front office.
If you have any questions, reach out to Ms. Khatch or Admin about the dress code.
Important Information:
When you first arrive, bags will be checked, and if you do not have your ID card, or are not following the semi-formal dress code, you will be denied entry to the dance. The dance is only for Rosemont students, and you must stay the entire time. If students arrive after 7 pm, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Why Should You Attend the Spring Dance?
The Spring Semi-formal is an amazing opportunity to make lifelong memories, have a great night with friends, and listen to amazing music from a DJ from Australia! According to Ms. Khatch, “I attended the semi-formal dances when I was a student at Rosemont. I had the best time and will never forget how much fun I had. I think students should attend because, although you come to Rosemont every day, nothing will compare to the semi-formal dance. This one is going to be amazing!!! ASB has been working tirelessly to make sure everything is perfect for their peers. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share this night with great vibes and even better friends.”
