National Strawberry Cream Pie Day

National+Strawberry+Cream+Pie+Day

Today, Thursday Sept. 28th, is National Strawberry Cream Pie Day! If that sounds like an absurd holiday, it is. The first Strawberry Cream Pie Day is unknown, but whoever created it decided that it should be on September 28th, even though strawberries are out of season in fall. Here at Rosemont, you can surprise your teachers and friends by telling them about National Strawberry Cream Pie Day, and maybe even by sharing the love and making a pie for your family. People celebrate National Strawberry Cream Pie Day (although it is a lesser-known holiday) by baking strawberry pies, buying strawberry pies from bakeries, and inviting family and friends to enjoy a nice strawberry cream pie. And if you’re considering baking a strawberry cream pie, remember that 94% of Americans enjoy strawberries. That’s close to a guarantee that all of your guests will enjoy strawberry cream pie, if you choose to make it. If you want to participate in celebrating Strawberry Cream Pie Day, here is a recipe and a bakery location near (25-30 minutes away) Rosemont.
