Who is Ms. McMillin? Ms. McMillin is a science teacher here at Rosemont. Ms. McMillin teaches both seventh and eighth grade. She has been teaching for 28 years and for 27 of those years, she has been teaching at Rosemont. Ms. McMillin has been teaching science for those 28 years.
Ms. McMillin wanted to start teaching science because her science teachers in middle school did not do a great job, and she thought she could teach better. She attended Occidental College in LA with a major in kinesiology and a minor in chemistry. Ms. McMillin knew she wanted to teach in college. Her favorite part about teaching is the kids, but her least favorite is the paperwork! Ms. McMillin started teaching because she always saw herself as a teacher and someone who was always interested in learning new things.
