Wingstop is a fast-food restaurant serving wings, tenders, nuggets, and more. It gained popularity in 2020 and is still thriving today. Some popular Wingstop flavors include Mango Habanero, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, and Cajun. We traveled to our nearest Wingstop, and here is what we think.
We went to the Wingstop in La Cañada Flintridge. The restaurant was pretty clean and very neat. However, there was no trash can to throw things away and their “napkins” were rough paper towels. They had various wing flavors, sides, condiments, and combos. We chose the boneless Mild and Hickory Smoked BBQ from the many options. The Hickory Smoked BBQ had a powerful barbeque taste and was very saucy. They were a bit salty, but not too much to the point where you could taste them a lot. The Mild was a bit dry and did not have a lot of spice, which was great. Overall, the boneless wings had a blast of flavor.
We also ordered a variety of sides. We got the regular french fries and the Cajun Fried corn. The fries were delicious and perfectly crispy. The Cajun corn was slightly spicy along with a little bit of salt. The corn was cooked perfectly and nicely buttered. Ranch dressing came with the combo and it was very watery. The ranch looked drinkable but tasted well.
Customer Service
Customer service can be a big part of the experience for some people. Overall, the customer service was nice, although a worker rudely called us over to get our meal by tapping on a window near us, which frightened us all. The cashier politely answered our questions and helped us choose what to eat. The restaurant was nicely decorated with historical Glendale and La Cañada Flintridge images.
Overall Review
Overall, Wingstop was a pretty enjoyable restaurant, very filling and tasty. Their food had lots of flavor, although some items were extremely saucy or a bit dry. They had delicious sides, but watery ranch to go with it. The food was blanched perfectly, some were tastier than others. The food was ready fast and was piping hot, even after ten minutes. The employees were nice, but they also startled us. The restaurant was well kept and everything was clean and neat. They did not have anywhere to throw trash. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had something to amaze you, everywhere you looked. Even the tables were decorated with new articles and pictures. Personally, the Spartan Scroll would recommend Wingstop to people who like wings, fries, and seasoned corn. They had a variety of everything and all tasted well.
