A man named Cooper takes his daughter Riley to a concert by her favorite singer Lady Raven. At the concert, Cooper notices that there are a lot of police officers around the concert. He finds that the whole concert is a trap for a serial killer. Soon we realize that Cooper is the killer. Throughout the concert, Cooper tries to escape multiple times using various means. Eventually, Copper Escapes and the rest is a chase between him and the police.
Trap is an okay movie for the first part, but it loses touch for the last half-hour. For the first hour and a half, there’s tension about whether Cooper will escape. The actor who plays Cooper is very likable and you root for him to escape, but once he escapes he becomes less likable and you just want him to get captured and the movie to end. The acting is believable apically Cooper and Riley as father-daughter there very believable in the way they talk and act. Most of the supporting characters acting is superb they all seem believable, and the songs made for Lady Raven sound like songs that real singers would sing. All of this makes Trap one of the most thrilling movies of 2024.
