On January 11th, the Rosemont Spartans prepared to face their rivals, the Toll Titans. Students, parents, and teachers gathered to witness a football game that would set the tone for future games this season.
As the kickoff marked the beginning of the game, Rosemont’s defensive team ensured that Toll didn’t gain many yards. Under the guidance of their dedicated coaches, the Spartans took the offensive side.
Rosemont’s quarterback, Taiyo Doreo, gave precise passes, leading to a touchdown by Leo Desrosiers. The Spartans solidified their lead, their defense thwarting most of the Titans’ attempts to regain control. Celebrations from Rosemont’s side took over the field as the Spartans scored another touchdown.
In the final moments of the game, Toll had the offense, but the Spartans held firm. The referee’s whistle marked the end of the game and the Rosemont Spartans claimed bragging rights in this match against the Toll Titans. Players, coaches, and onlookers celebrated this victory. Rosemont won their first game of 2024.
