Who is Ms. Hutchins? Lisa Hutchins a new science teacher at Rosemont Middle School. She went to Charter Oak High School in Covina, California. Mrs. Hutchins then started college at Mount Sac, later transferring to Cal Poly Pomona. When Mrs. Hutchins was in 9th grade biology, she realized that teaching science was something she might want to do in life. She has always liked non-fiction books and science was her best subject. She always wanted to work in GUSD schools, so when Rosemont had an opening she jumped on the chance. Mrs. Hutchins likes Rosemont because it’s new and different, she has never seen this many electives at a school before. Her favorite part about teaching is spending time with the kids and making new fun activities for students to learn. She likes to garden and care for her cats in her free time. Ms. Hutchins loves to make a difference and educate kids to help them grow!
