The Rosemont Cheer Team is one of most known programs at the school. They cheer at spirit assemblies and at our sports team’s home games. They are cheering at the boys basketball and the girls soccer games and have already given a riveting performance at the Spirit Assembly on September 28. From their new uniforms to the peppy cheers, they’ve shown how accomplished they are already. This is the second year of cheer being offered as a class rather than an after school activity. Their lovely cheer coach, Ms. Cole has given the school a much needed boost in school spirit with her amazing cheerleaders.
The Rosemont cheer team is one of the many electives that students want to participate in, and with two hundred people auditioning last year, only forty girls make it on the team. With a diverse mix of seventh and eighth graders, the cheerleaders will be cheering at basketball, soccer, and football games during the year, while also performing at the Spirit Assemblies. They give their all during the games with their numerous cheers and half time dances. The Rosemont cheerleaders are a big part of the school and we can’t wait to see more from them.
