Once upon a time book store is a friendly, peaceful establishment. It is located at 2207 Honolulu Ave.
Montrose, CA 91020. The bookstore has books for people of all ages. The bookstore hosts clubs and events for people who have already read the book to discuss their thoughts and ask questions. I attended the Graphic novel club and I am pleased to say I had a great time. Towards the beginning the attendees are mostly quieter but as the club progresses they get excited with thoughts and and willing to express their opinions. Graphic novels are books for people of all ages. Everyone can enjoy a graphic novel! They combine lots of fun cartoon pictures and words which creates a fun world that inspires people who don’t enjoy reading a lot of words to read. The book club spoke about The Cat’s Cradle: The Golden Twine written by Jo Rioux. I attended the club not having read the book and the discussions made the book sound really good. If you like reading graphic novels and I would definitely recommend coming to this local club!
