Halloween Costume Contest

Halloween is over, and so is Rosemont’s annual costume contest. Every Halloween, hundreds of students come to school wearing a variety of costumes from detailed homemade costumes to simple onesies, not everyone participates.

As per usual, this year’s contest was held on the stage below the amphitheater. Ms. Khatchetourian said the name of the costumes, and the crowd cheered as loud as they could for the costume they wanted. Most contests were decided easily, but some took multiple rounds of voting to decide a winner.

The first category was best group,  all the groups lined up on the far side of the amphitheater, and then walked across the stage when the previous group finished walking. Ms. Khatchetourian chose the top four groups, and after one more round of voting the winner was decided. Afterward, the same process continued for the next three categories, but the contestants were lined up instead of walking out. The winners are below. We also apologize to anyone we couldn’t credit for their costumes since many of them had something covering their faces and we also didn’t have many shots that gave us a good angle of those whose faces were showing. If you know who they are, tell us so we can edit the article to show their names.
