Glendale High School is a highschool that ranges from 9th to 12th grade. Glendale High has several different opportunities in sports including baseball, girls basketball, boys basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, girls soccer, boys soccer, soft ball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, girls water polo, and boys water polo. Not only do they have a large range of sports, but they also have many different electives such as language classes, band, dance, journalism, cross country, newspaper, and so much more. Glendale also has several AP and honors classes for students to raise their GPA and take college level classes to do the best that they can in college/do good in highschool.

I interviewed Ellena Shahbandarian, a highschool senior at Glendale High School. I asked her simple questions about Glendale High School such as If she likes Glendale High School. Ellena replied with, “Yes, GHS has a nice community and a beautiful campus.” Along with this, I also asked her about some good qualities about Glendale High School. Her response to this question was, “GHS not only has a good campus but also several opportunities to help students thrive in and after high school. Plus, GHS has a lot of things to do and our events are super cool like our rallys, prom, and homecoming. These are all super cool events everyone loves going to.” Lastly, I asked Ellena what some opportunities were at GHS. She said, “Our school is the only school that has a cosmetology program at a highschool, so right after you graduate highschool you can go straight into cosmetology. There is also a program that is basically an elective that you have where you build stuff but its digital programming and some people have gotten jobs at tesla because of this elective. Also, teachers at GHS have a lot of connections with people so they can set you up to good opportunities such as our dance teachers can set you up with professional dancers if you’d want to pursue that as a career. Our dance team gets to go to vegas and perform and stuff.”

I also interviewed Moses Bedrosian, a junior at Glendale High School. I asked him the same questions as Ellena, such as if he likes GHS. He replied with, “Yes, I like this school because it’s a positive environment to be around. It provides positive help and education for students. They also have really good spicy chicken sandwiches but it also has a good community and everyone just does their own thing.” I also asked him if RMS students should go to GHS and he replied with, “It has a lot to offer with electives and has many classes if you want to challenge yourself. GHS’s electives have helped so many people find which career that they want to pursue for the rest of their lives. GHS has so many opportunities such as many honor classes and AP classes to choose from, and there’s one for everyone to be interested in.”
