Easy Thanksgiving Sweet Treat

Easy+Thanksgiving+Sweet+Treat
Juliette Parmentier

Since Thanksgiving is in between other widely celebrated holidays, it never really gets true commemoration. So, here we are giving it an easy-to-make sugary sweet treat. Welcome to the Turkey Cookies recipe. For the recipe, you’ll only need four ingredients:

Double Stuffed Oreos
Candy Corn
Candy Eyes
White Frosting

To start us off, you’ll need to stick about five candy corn pieces into the double stuffed part of the Oreo, pointy side in. Then use the icing to stick on the eyes for the face on the Oreo. If you want a beak, remove the orange part of the candy corn and stick it with frosting. There you go, now you have some cute appetizers or fun snacks for a Thanksgiving get-together. Have fun with this and share it with your family and friends!

Juliette grew up in this area with a sister and two cats. She attended Benjamin Franklin Elementary before coming to Rosemont. Also don’t ask her where “Romeo” is because EVERYONE asks that. She’s trilingual and can speak English, almost fluent French, and some Chinese. Juliette likes to travel, garden and hang out with friends. She’s excited to be part of The Spartan Scroll team this year. :)
