Christmas Coming Early

Christmas+Coming+Early

As Christmas is approaching, we are seeing more and more decorations appearing all over our neighborhood! But Christmas is still a month away, Thanksgiving has not even passed! Instead of decorating on December first, people started decorating as soon as Halloween ended. Not only that, but they are getting more extravagant with more lights and Christmas blow ups. Putting up Christmas decorations helps some adults connect with their childhood selves again. It makes people happy to think about loved ones, and see all of the fun lights. This is because Christmas decorating causes dopamine levels to rise, which causes people to feel happier.

The Plaza is also decorated for Christmas! Even people at Rosemont are decorating their houses early, from putting up lights to a Christmas tree. Some teachers are planning to put up decorations after Thanksgiving break. While it may seem funny to celebrate Christmas so early, it is exciting to spend time with family and loved ones through Christmas decorations!
