This Friday, on the 22nd of September, is the very first Adam Sandler Day celebrated at Rosemont. Put on your baggy shirts, basketball shorts, baseball caps, and black sunglasses! Be prepared to win spirit points for your grade. Two random classes for each grade will be chosen randomly, and whoever has the most Adam Sandler ‘copy-cats’ will win a total of five spirit points for their grade.

Adam Sandler, known for his baggy style spotted in daily life, dresses for comfort to represent his care-free self. Recently, plenty of people have started taking more notice of this. “We all came up with different ideas for spirit days, and we decided to choose Adam Sandler day over Barbie day and sports day because the majority of the class voted for it.” says Nelda, a student in ASB. His recent paparazzi photos became a source of inspiration. They all show him wearing loose fitting and practical clothes. “Adam Sandler has been an inspiration since I was a young child. Every day when I was younger I woke up and thought, wow, he has a great style.” Zane, a student in journalism, remarked after overhearing the event.

The famous actor has starred in many movies and tv shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Out-Laws, King of Queens, Uncut Gems, Murder Mystery, Hotel Transylvania and much more. Often playing the comic, Adam Sandler debuted his career in Saturday Night live and continued to pave his way. Like his spirit, how he dresses reflects over his chill mood. Remember to wear his style for spirit points!
