PTA Bingo night

On Wednesday, November 16, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) held their Annual Family Bingo Night. The event started at 7 p.m. in the Cafeteria at Rosemont Middle school. Both students and their families attended bingo night. What made this event even more unique was that Mrs. Park and Principal Rissie were the bingo callers. It started off with a PTA meeting. The meeting contained reports from the PTA President, Principal Risse, the PTA 3rd Vice President of Membership/Fundraising, the Treasurer, the Parliamentarian, and the winners of the recent Reflections contest were announced. After that, the event shifted to an enticing game of Bingo. A paper Bingo board and a cup of skittles were passed to everyone around the room and the fun began. In some rounds, two people won, and in others, there was just one winner. There was also one game of Blackout. The winners got to pick from prize baskets on a prize table. At the end of the event, CJSF and Builders Club members got service hours. The PTA Bingo night was a fun way for family and friends to come together and have fun and possibly win cool prizes!
At the end of the event, Karin Gaver, the PTA President said, “I was so excited that we were able to do bingo night again this year… it’s just great to be able to have in person events again and to see the Rosemont community come out.”
In addition to that, Principal Rissie commented, “This was actually really well attended it’s our first bingo night in probably three years because of the pandemic but well attended and students got lots of fun prizes and great participation.”
