The First Basketball Game of The Year

This Thursday, on September 28, 2023, the first basketball game kicks off the season at Rosemont Middle School. Rosemont is facing the Toll Titans for the first game. This is a big event due to the fact that both teams are from some of the most well known middle schools in the community.
This game will take place at Rosemont’s gymnasium. People will be able to sit on the bleachers to see the two teams play against each other. With the amount of people attending the event, it was a good time to sit back and watch both teams play. This event is not about rivalry or the differences between schools. It is about an event people can attend and enjoy a game of basketball with their friends and family.
Viewers were presented with an amazing game of basketball. Both teams first began the game with warm-ups. They began to practice in front of the on-looking crowd. And after a round of practicing, the teams finally faced each other.
When the game started, the Rosemont Spartans did have an impressive lead against the Toll Titans. As the game went on, this quickly changed as the Titans kept making more and more penalty shots onto the Spartans. Eventually, the Spartans were losing to the Toll Titans.
This would later change as the Spartans made multiple comebacks and scored many points against the Titans, eventually having a greater amount of shots. The Toll Titans did make an effort to hold off and achieve more shots than the Spartans. The Spartans still kept the upper hand in the game, as they either kept the same amount of points or gained more.
In the end with the final score of the game being , 40-31, the Spartans came out victorious over the Toll Titans. This was an amazing win for Rosemont Middle School, but even though this game was intense, in the end every player is a winner as they played their best in the game.
